Perched above Brisbane’s largest craft beer bar in West End, the Loft is set to celebrate equality in style.
Over the last few years, The Loft is emerging as one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets. From its early days as Uber Night Club, the venue has been through a revamp, and will re-launch and refocus its identity within the West End scene.
With Archive Beer Boutique already a popular LGBT hangout, the Loft management believe that having a night to celebrate the support for its patrons’ right to equality is just a natural extension for them.
“We have a loyal LGBT patronage at Archive Beer Boutique and we have decided it’s time we celebrate marriage equality. We are proud to be an establishment that supports all” Archive and Loft representative Ra Marcroft said.
“Wednesday night will be our ‘Equality @Loft West End’. A gold coin donation and a percentage of the bar takings will be given to the Australian Marriage Equality organisation and other organisations that campaign for LGBT rights and issues. It is time we gave back and provided a venue with class and authenticity for the LGBT and broader community starting with Wednesday nights but welcoming whenever we are open”.
‘Equality @Loft West End’ is every Wednesday night at The Loft West End, 100 Boundary St, West End from 6pm. There will be a big launch party in October so keep an eye out for details.
